Iconic Lurgan landmark to sponsor Portadown team

Not surprisingly, given Brownlow House’s iconic status in Lurgan, there has been some dissention at the decision to pledge support to a club based in neighbouring Portadown, often perceived as rivals.

Some friends of Brownlow House have questioned the move through the organisation’s Facebook page while others have congratulated proprietor Robert Odgers on his kind sponsorship.

In recent years Brownlow House has been involved in sponsorship of a number of Lurgan clubs and events, including advertising hoarding at Lurgan Town FC and board sponsorship during Lurgan Institute’s annual Jubilee Cup darts competition.
