Identical twins get identical A-level results

For Catherine and Helen Stewart, from Castlerock, got IDENTICAL results in their A levels - three A stars!

The pair will now go to Queen’s University in Belfast to study medicine.

Catherine studied Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

She said: “I was quite shocked but very happy,” she said.

“I had heard how hard it was to get A* and I was aiming for high As.”

Her sister Helen did History, Biology and Chemistry.

“Catherine opened hers first and I just thought ‘I better do the same’,” she said. “I was really excited when I saw mine, I wasn’t expecting that many.”

She said there was “friendly rivalry” between them both - but that they are inseparable!
