Carol said she is looking forward to the new challenge and added: “I am very excited about this new role and contributing to one of IKEA’s long term priorities – Living with Children. As well as being a huge fan of IKEA products, since joining IKEA I’ve been most impressed by the company’s uncompromising commitment to quality as well as health and safety.

“In my new role, the majority of my time will be spent visiting stores throughout the UK and Ireland, coaching managers in the Children’s and Family departments in IKEA’s commercial strategies and how to best present ranges and products.”

Carol will also be involved in IKEA’s Soft Toy Campaign which runs from November to December raising money for Save the Children and UNICEF educational projects. For every soft toy purchased at IKEA in November and December, €1 from each sale goes to the charity projects.
