Ilex spent £9k on ads and services

LONDONDERRY regeneration firm Ilex spent almost £9k on articles and advertisements in the Northern Ireland business magazine AgendaNI and on support from BMF business services since 2007.

Social Development Minister Alex Attwood revealed the information in response to an Assembly Question; Ilex is under his Department's joint stewardship.

Ilex spent 6,721 on the articles and ads in AgendaNI a magazine professing to cover "in depth analysis of major policy issues that impact upon the public, business, and voluntary and community sectors in Northern Ireland."

The regeneration company also received payments for attendance at BMF conferences to the tune of 2,184.

BMF Business Services says it is "Ireland's leading independent supplier of niche business support services."

The total expenditure was 8,905.
