The Ulster Cancer Foundation (UCF) is urgently seeking new volunteers to help in its charity shops in Coleraine and Ballymoney.

Morag Chambers, Volunteer Co-ordinator with UCF, said, “Our volunteers are a very valued part of the UCF team and our charity shops provide an essential part of the income needed to maintain our wide range of services. The UCF shops are a busy, fast moving environment and volunteering is a great opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and gain retail experience.

“If you have time to spare, enjoy being part of a team and want to help us in the fight against cancer we welcome your help.

“In addition, if you are between 16 and 25 years old why not take this opportunity to take part in the Millennium Volunteers certified scheme endorsed by the Department of Social Development.”
