Catherine McCracken (29), of Drumbeg, Craigavon, was fined £250 for the offence last Wednesday at the local court.

She was also given six penalty points.

The court heard the offence came to light when she was driving on April 7 at Moyraverty Court.

Pleading guilty herself she explained to the court there were two direct debits coming out of her account and there wasn’t enough for the insurance so it was cancelled.
