Five players recorded 41 pts - Billy Campbell (15), clinched second spot thanks to a magnificent back nine of 23 pts. Nine pars from the 8th to the 16th set him up but he must regret dropping a shot at the 17th and 18th cost him overall victory.

Another fifteen handicapper, Hugh Mulholland picked up 19pts on the front, failing to register a score at the 8th. A back nine total of 22 pts left him one shot off the winner and in third place.
