When Ballymena woman Lizzie Greer went missing earlier this year, local people were highly impressed by the dedicated work of the Community Search and Rescue Team who spent long hours in very cold conditions trying to find her.

Sadly, the search was in vain as Lizzie was later found dead near Lough Neagh.

Lizzie, a former Tesco Ballymena employee, was well liked by all her colleagues and they decided to hold a charity day to gather vital funds for the CSR team.
