IN PICTURES: Lisburn remembers the fallen
Last weekend the city of Lisburn paused to remember the fallen of two world wards and numerous subsequent conflicts.
The Royal British Legion lead the Remembrance Sunday parade and service from Sackville Street to the war memorial in Castle Street, where wreaths were laid by dignitaries including Lagan Valley MP Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, the Mayor of Lisburn and Castlereagh Councillor Uel Mackin, and Lord Lieutenant for County Antrim Joan Christie CVO OBE.
Dignitaries, councillors, veterans and representatives of the Armed Forces paraded through the city centre accompanied by LIsburn Young Defenders and the PSNI Pipe Band.
