In the running for home of the year

THE 'MAIL' got its foot in the door at two of Northern Ireland's dream homes this week.

Noreen and Jean-Paul Van Der Velde’s Aghalee home will be featured in BBC Northern Ireland’s ‘House Of The Year’ alongside the home of Nicola and Angus Waddington from Donaghcloney.

The ‘MAIL’ was fortunate to get a guided tour of both the beautiful houses which will feature on BBC One NI on Monday night at 10.35pm.

Also featured in the Armagh edition of the show is the home of Yvonne Walker from Scarva.

‘House Of The Year’ follows presenter Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen as he takes a tour around the 18 short-listed homes and spends time with the three expert judges.

Throughout the series of six programmes, three beautiful homes from each of the six counties in Northern Ireland are featured with one from each programme selected to go through to the series final.
