THIRTY-NINE wheelchair users are on the housing waiting list in Londonderry.
Across the Western Housing Executive area 78 people who had been awarded functionality points for using a wheelchair were waiting for a home. There were 39 such applicants in Londonderry; nine in Strabane; and eight in Limavady.
Housing Minister Alex Attwood released the information in response to an Assembly Question tabled by Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey.
