WOMEN who face the demands of full-time caring don't usually have the time or opportunity to think about themselves. But that's about to change for women carers in Culmore, Newbuildings and Strathfoyle areas, thanks to an innovative personal development programme.

‘It’s All About Me’ provides female carers with respite from the demands and stresses of caring, while learning about ways in which they can improve their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being and realise their full potential.

The programme is open to women in the Culmore, Newbuildings and Strathfoyle areas who care for a child under 12 years of age with a learning disability. It’s delivered by learning disability charity Positive Futures in partnership with MeUnltd.
