n The Co Armagh 12th parade in Lurgan after a fantastic day was ruined by some members of a Portadown lodge who after breaking ranks, the mindless thugs attacked innocent bystanders including women and children. On behalf of the decent people of Lurgan, You are an absolute shame and disgrace to your Sash, your town, your lodge and the fine banner it carries! Hang your heads in shame. Orangeman.

n Everyone wants peace in the community so why don't they stop the parades or at least let Catholics parade on St Patrick's Day! Keep Union Jacks to their own side and Tricolours to theirs. Or just scrap the whole flag idea on both sides!

n In reply to the unionist who told nationalists to go down south, how about he and the rest of his type go back to England! You may have won a country by bully boy tactics but that by no means gives you the right to hang flags and tell people to go down south! You parade your flags everywhere for the simple reason that you are still trying to prove that we are part of Britain! The intelligent people of the town with a bit of geographical sense all know you can't divide an island! You only go where you aren't welcome, if I told you, you weren't welcome on the moon next year would you take the hint?

n The young kids that destroy the place, where are their parents? In the house full drunk with a carryout. I'm a mother of a 16-year-old and i know where my son is at night. I blame the parents.

nJust a comment to the person complaining about the cost of 10 for the four half days for the summer scheme (Eire Og). I sent my five-year-old who thoroughly enjoyed it and received a great bag, leather football with sweets. They were also supplied with free water each day from Classic Minerals. The people running it did it unpaid. It's a shame of people who expect to get everything for nothing these days!
