‘Inspirational’ Lesley raises over £5000 for breast cancer charity

LOCAL woman Lesley Crowe, has raised a remarkable £5035 for Pretty ‘n’ Pink Breast Cancer Charity.

The money is the result of Lesley’s hard work and dedication to raising funds for the charity during the month of October to mark the 10th anniversary of her ‘all clear’ from breast cancer.

Lesley organised a series of fundraisers including a ‘Ladies Night’, a grand ballot, raffle of an Ulster Rugby shirt, and a street collection. Also included in the total are the proceeds from the ‘Lap the Lough’ challenge undertaken by pharmacists Kate McClelland and Amanda Sherry from Maghaberry Pharmacy who cycled 81 miles around Lough Neagh to help raise funds for Lesley’s chosen charity.
