Inspiring Stephen scoops leadership awards
The Awards are open to leaders of organisations such as community projects, health organisations, social enterprises, voluntary organisations, or any of the many other organisations that make up the breadth of the sector.
The CO3 ‘Overall Inspiring Leader of the Year’ award recognises Stephen’s innovative and inspirational leadership within the Voluntary and Community Sector, as well as commending his outstanding work supporting services for people with disabilities.

Hide AdStephen said: “I am very grateful for these awards and I would like to thank everyone involved in the ceremony as well as the Judging Panel.
“These awards are as much recognition of The Cedar Foundation as they are of me,” he continued.
“I have worked for Cedar for twenty years and I am so proud of the organisation and everyone in it.”
Speaking at the awards ceremony Junior Minister Martina Anderson said: “It is important that everyone in our society can benefit from investment and development, and the advantages they can bring and it is crucial that those who are most vulnerable within our society have representation and a strong voice.

Hide Ad“It is the leaders within the Voluntary and Community Sector who provide that voice, they work tirelessly for rights for those who may be disadvantaged, they secure the delivery of much needed services on the ground, and they ensure that the cause they champion is kept on Government agendas.”
