Mrs Lynda O’Kane, who was a form tutor and history teacher at Methodist College, is understood to have lived in the Crumlin area.

Mrs O’Kane was in her early 50s.

She had been feeling unwell and her husband John was getting ready to take her to hospital when she collapsed. He rang 999 and an ambulance responded immediately. Paramedics worked on Mrs O’Kane but sadly she passed away before reaching hospital.
