The titles acknowledge businesses that demonstrate best environmental practice and technologists and innovators who have developed a new service or process that has made a positive contribution to the environment.

Interface is the worldwide leader in design, production and sales of environmentally-responsible modular carpet for the commercial, institutional and residential markets.

Site Manager Adrian Marks said: “We are absolutely delighted to have come away with not one, but two accolades. It’s testament to the hard work we do at Interface to lead the way on sustainability issues. Interface made a public commitment to become wholly sustainable by 2020 with our Mission Zero promise, now on target to meet that, we have set ourselves a new target with Climate Take Back. This means we don’t just want to stop climate change but reverse it. Awards like these really add weight to what we do and help our teams in Craigavon, and around the world, to keep motivated to achieve these goals.”

The American firm has factories across the world and has operated in Craigavon since 1982. It employs around 190 staff locally and provides apprenticeship schemes.
