The Festival is a combination of concerts and workshops and this year classical guitar fans are in for a treat as Matthew McAllister and Amanda Cook make a welcome return for a weekend of workshops, masterclasses and ensemble playing, on August 27 and 28.

There will be workshops covering flamenco and jazz guitar with Amir-John Haddad and Esmond Selwyn, respectively, while for rock fans blues and rock guitarist Ted Lynch will hold an electric guitar course dedicated to Gary Moore.

There will also be Beginners Ukulele with Ronan Kearney.
