OM operates four mission ships, which travel worldwide distributing scripture, helping people in need, and offering training.

One of these ships, Logos Hope, has seen over four million visitors since 2009. Eight people form Northern Ireland serve on the 12,000 vessel.

The ship also offers the largest floating book shop in the world, with people coming on board to attend concerts and Bible programmes.

Four young people from Logos Hope were invited by John to speak at thew coffee morning, including Naomi from the UK, Esther, from Switzerland; Ithzell from Mexico, and Chris from Brazil. “They are part of a 400-strong crew who sign up for two years to tell the story of Jesus,” said John.

“They are spending two weeks in Northern Ireland speaking in various churches about the ship and then they go to Wales. The purpose of these talks is hopefully to get a bit of financial support and to ask people to pray for us.”
