International Women's Day

WOMEN'S Aid in Ballymena, Antrim, Carrickfergus, Larne and Newtownabbey are launching a new initiative with local businesses on Monday, March 8, at Mossley Mill.

The businesses, which have a predominantly female customer base, are working alongside Women’s Aid to promote the ‘Safe Place’ initiative.

This means that where customers see the ‘Safe Place’ logo, they know they can access information on domestic violence services, including Women’s Aid, PSNI, Northern Health and Social Care Trust and Victim Support, in a familiar environment.
