Olive Hill, Director, Innovation and Technology Solutions, Invest NI said: “Our Sustainable Development team provides technical advice and information to businesses on energy and resource efficiency. However we are increasingly finding that businesses are experiencing difficulty in identifying suitable sources of finance for on-site renewable energy projects that will help them reduce their energy costs.

“At our Renewable Energy Funding seminars experts will provide insights into capital/project finance options, legal issues and revenue income from renewable energy generation. The types of on-site heat and/or electricity generation technologies being considered by companies include wind, hydro, anaerobic digestion, woodchip/biomass, heat pumps and geothermal, solar thermal and photovoltaic.”

The seminars will also give attendees the opportunity to access information on the full range of energy and resource efficiency support provided by Invest NI.
