Investment at Dales Flats is welcomed

LAGAN Valley DUP Assembly member, Jonathan Craig, has welcomed the £1 million investment for a new heating system to be installed in the Dales Flats in Dunmurry.

He said that the current heating system was over 40 years old and was no longer fit for purpose.

“This represents a much needed investment into the Dales Flats in Dunmurry,” said Mr Craig. “This scheme will be launched in two phases worth at least £1 million.”

“I have been lobbying on a whole range of issues with regard to the Dales Flats for many years and I am pleased we have seen this investment made.”

Mr Craig added: “The current heating system is over 40 years old. It has served the residents’ and building well over its 40 year lifespan but is no longer fit for purpose. Residents’ have been experiencing issues with their heating for some time and I know that this new heating system will resolve any issues.”

“The scheme will be complete by January 2012. This represents a very quick turnaround which will be most welcome.”
