The 2015 Convention, held mainly at Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church, will begin on Friday, August 21 and continue through until Saturday, August 29, finishing with a celebration event to be held in the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.

Committee Chairman Tom Clarke extends a warm welcome to people in Lisburn to come along to the many events as part of an action packed 2015 programme. “Our theme this year is Building the Kingdom. We have an incredible line up for our closing event at the Waterfront Hall including Professor John Lennox from Oxford University. Maud Kells will also be taking part and praise will be lead by the New Irish Choir and Orchestra and Alistair Hamill and band.

“The year 2015 represents key milestones for some of the mission agencies we work with and so we will be celebrating a few anniversaries throughout the convention. One is the 150th anniversary of OMF and we are delighted to have Jamie Taylor, a direct descendent of the founder Hudson Taylor, sharing with us at the Waterfront event and also on Monday August 24 in Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church. Open Doors are also celebrating their 60th anniversary.”
