Stefan Menet of Aptamil says, "We are delighted that Ballymena is represented in the finals of the Aptamil Dad of the Year Award and I wish Adrian all the best. Whatever the outcome, I am confident that the winner will represent all that's best about Northern Ireland Dads."

Adrian was nominated for the award by his wife, Joy, and sons Craig (3) and Harry (10 months).

They say, "Our Daddy is the best! Our Daddy gives us lots of love, cuddles and laughs - as well as good care. He takes us to the park, bakes buns and makes a mess in the kitchen! He drives us to the beach, watches cartoons and gets us to sleep which can be very testing.

“Mummy had to go into hospital for an eye operation and even though Daddy was very tired, he still looked after us very well."
