Island hosts USWA annual exhibition

Lisburn's Island Arts Centre will be hosting the annual exhibition by the Ulster Society of Women Artists this month.

The USWA was founded by artist Gladys Maccabe in 1957.

It began with just 10 members .

Today membership, which is seen as a mark of distinction, stands at more than 100 women from all fields of the visual arts.

The exhibition will run in Gallery One and Two of the Island Arts Centre from Thursday, February 18, until Thursday, March 24.

Admission is free of charge.
