Island schools on priority list
A new build project for two Islandmagee primary schools has been placed on a priority list.
Kilcoan and Mullaghdubh will operate as one school across two sites from September 2016.
An Education Authority spokesperson said: “We can confirm the project for a new school build is currently on the EA’s major works priority list and will be processed in the same way as all the other schemes. Ultimately, the Minister for Education has the final decision in prioritising schemes therefore, at this stage we cannot comment on when this project will commence.”
