Islandmagee Methodist to host special events

AN old time gospel evening will be held in Islandmagee Methodist Church next week.

The special event - on Tuesday, February 23 - will feature special music by the Belfast Citadel Salvation Band and Songsters.

Beginning at 8pm, the evening will provide an opportunity for those to make a donation through the retiring offering which is in aid of Haiti.

Meanwhile, on Friday, March 19, a concert will be held in the church in aid of the refurbishment fund.

It will feature Ballyclare Male Voice Choir, compere Alan Beattie, accordion soloist Andrew Davidson and humorous verse speaker Pat Robinson.
