Items stolen from council vehicle

Police are appealing for information after a phone and bank card were stolen from a council vehicle in Gilford.

Constable Michael Brannigan explained: “Sometime between 2pm and 3.15pm on Thursday, October 30, a vehicle belonging to Banbridge District Council was parked at the side of the health centre on Banbridge Road, Gilford. The vehicle was entered and a Samsung Galaxy phone and bank card stolen.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. We can be contacted in Banbridge police station on 101, quoting ref: 942301014.”
