It's A Knockout set for park

Will you take up the “It’s A Knockout Challenge” or come along and enjoy a great day’s craic watching others working their way through the many weird and wacky games as seen before on television. Along with the spectacular ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition families can enjoy face painting, fun balloons, a great children’s playground, wonderful scenery and walks, all there for your enjoyment and no admission fee.

Cancer Research UK (Lurgan and Moira Local Committees) have worked closely together to organise and host this year’s “It’s A Knockout Challenge”.

Sixteen teams have entered to date and late entries will still be considered. Teams of 10 will have a fun day out with a little bit of competition added in for good measure.

Each team will raise sponsorship of 1,000 (100 per team member), which will enable Cancer Research UK to continue its ground-breaking work.

The day will be a fun event and good craic for all who partake, not to mention everyone will probably end up very wet. The event runs from 11am to 3pm

More than one in three of us are likely to develop cancer at some stage in our lives so there cannot be a family who hasn’t been touched by this disease in some way.

Cancer Research UK is currently funding research at Belfast City Hospital, Queen University Belfast and the University of Ulster.
