‘It’s a Teen Thing’ for Academy pupils

Pupils in Year 14 at Ballymena Academy were offered the opportunity to participate in a health education course run by Women’s Aid.

The ‘It’s a Teen Thing’ course centred on health education an issues such as the effects of alcohol and drug abuse and developing health relationships.

Women’s Aid course facilitator Nicola Rock presented certificates to Natalie Boyd, Monica McGuickian, Ellen McKendry, Cherith Wright, and Leah Paul, who all completed the course.
