It's pamper time for Ballysally residents!

A new community facility opened in Ballysally last week.

The beauty salon, CM Little Gels and Beauty, at Building Ballysally Together will offer lessons in beauty treatments.

Community worker, Adrian Eakin told The Times: “Each month, our beauty therapist, Caroline McConnell will offer lesson in different treatments.

“Caroline hopes to mentor those who sign up, and perhaps some will go on and get beauty qualifications.

“We offer many different courses here at Building Ballysally Together - it’s all about enabling those who are out of work to make the best use of their time out of employment.

“Gaining other qualifications and taking courses, like first aid, is a stepping stone for finding your way back into employment.

Beauty mentor, Caroline, who lives on the estate added: “The first beauty session is fully booked, but there will be plenty of time for others to get involved.

“Sessions are planned in nail art, gel polish, tanning and make up application.”

The salon was officially opened by Christina Paul the Supporting Communitites liason officer for Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

Building Ballysally Together Chairman Lexie Hynds and Adrian Eakin also joined the launch celebrations.
