James Nesbitt filming in Carrickfergus town centre

The Coleraine man, known for his roles in Cold Feet, The Missing, and The Hobbit, was recently cast in ITV drama The Secret.

The three-part series tells the true story of Colin Howell, a respectable dentist who became a killer in partnership with Sunday school teacher, Hazel Buchanan.

The images appear to show Nesbitt shooting scenes for the drama in North Street in the town.

In one photograph the actor is leaving a building which has ‘Ballymoney Dental Practice’ displayed in the window.
