Jay Lowder back in town

American evangelist Jay Lowder is back in Lurgan as part of the centenary celebrations for the Elim Church.

This year the Elim church is celebrating 100 years since its birth in Monaghan. To mark the occasion the local church on the Banbridge Road has invited Jay as their special speaker, on Monday, September 7, to Wednesday 9th at 7.45pm each night plus a big Youth night on Friday 11th in Lurgan Town Hall.

Jay from Wichita Falls, Texas was the speaker at Mission Hope in Lurgan three years ago and is a man with a remarkable story to tell.

At 21 years of age he decided to end his life with a pistol but found hope and purpose in Jesus Christ.

Today he has an extensive itinerary especially through his Crossroads program for teenagers.

On the Friday night in the town hall, along with great music he will address the five deadly issues youth face today.
