Jewellery and cash stolen

Cash and jewellery was stolen from a house in the Culmore Road area on Friday, April 1.

Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary of a house that occurred in the Garden City Lower area.

Sometime between 11am and 1.10pm, the house was entered and a quantity of cash and jewellery was taken.

Detective Constable Emma Marshall said: “I would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or anyone who knows anything about this burglary, to contact detectives at Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
