Jill has sights set on UK tour
A FORMER Larne woman is appealing for the support of residents of her home town to help her and her bandmates win a prestigious music competition.
Jill Lenton, 27, a ex-pupil of Olderfleet Primary and Larne Grammar, is the lead singer of a Londonderry-based band called No Mean City.
The foursome are the first band from Ireland to successfully qualify for the second round of the Red Bull Bedroom Jam, a national competition that provides huge opportunities for amateur bands across the UK and Ireland.
