Jimeon and Patrick Kielty headline in Riverside programme

BROCHURES detailing Riverside Theatre events from August through until early February 2013 are now available – either by calling into the theatre itself or by ringing Louise Geddis, at the Box Office, on 02870 324459, who will mail one out to you.

The 40-plus events making up the autumn and winter programme are dominated by comedy: Patrick Kielty, Jimeoin, Fred Macaulay, William Caulfield, Roy Walker, Jake O’Kane, Kevin McAleer, Hugo Duncan and Conal Gallen.

There’s classic comedy drama (two plays by Oscar Wilde, Alan Ayckbourn and a new tribute to the legendary Joyce Grenfell), Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”, professional ballet (“The Nutcracker”), several new plays, music ranging from rock to gospel, drama documentary (with a new show from Derry’s Theatre of Witness company), two big Irish Dance promotions, a brand new version of the panto “Aladdin” and a spectacular community production, by Ballywillan Drama Group, of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical, “Whistle Down The Wind”.
