James Morrison was a fireman for a number of years and does great voluntary work for the friends of the handicapped.

In an emotional letter his neice Margaret Murray of Queens Avenue explain: 'I wish to nominate Mr James (Jimmy) Morrison. He is my uncle and has just retired from his job at Modern Tyres. He has worked in the tyre business for a lot of years.

"He was a fireman for a number of years to and also does voluntary work for friends of the handicapped.

"I am not just saying this because he is my uncle, he is a very good, kind and helpful person. He is always there for anybody no matter when or where. I wish him all the best on his retirement and love him lots.'
