Jobless total rising
THE number of people out of work in the Coleraine Council area continues to rise.
Figures released this week by the Labour Market show that in January this year a total of 2,045 people were unemployed in this Borough Council area - that’s 1,463 men and 582 females.
These figures represent an increase of 4.9% (or 96 people) compared with December 2012 and a rise of 5.6% (or 108 people) compared with January 2012.
