Jobs cash set aside

BALLYMENA Councillors have agreed that £20,000 be ringfenced from the local authority’s Economic Development budget to “actively promote” major capital investment and job creation in the borough.

They did so at last Monday night’s monthly meeting on the proposal of Cllr Maurice Mills, seconded by Mrs Beth Adger, after being informed by their Chief Executive, Anne Donaghy, that officers had identified that amount in the budget for the purpose.
