This community-focused event promotes sustainability, encouraging everyone to make repairs, rather than discarding items. It’s the perfect chance to contribute to building a greener, more sustainable community while also learning valuable repair skills.

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Leah Kirkpatrick said: “Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to extend the life of your belongings, reduce waste, and experience the satisfaction of giving treasured items a second chance. From repairing a favourite sweater to fixing up a bicycle, our skilled repairers will be on hand to help. We look forward to seeing you there!”

This event is part of Northern Ireland’s Reuse and Repair Week 2026 which runs from May 30 to June 6.
