In the 1970s, less than a quarter of people with cancer survived. But over the last 40 years, survival has doubled – today half will survive.

Cancer Research UK is determined to accelerate progress and see three-quarters of people surviving the disease within the next 20 years.

They want survival in the UK to be among the best in the world. They’re focusing their efforts in four key areas – working to help prevent cancer, diagnose it earlier, develop new treatments and improve current treatments by personalising them and making them even more effective.

They rely on dedicated scientists, doctors and nurses, and the generosity of supporters. With your help, they can beat cancer sooner.

So join us for an informal and informative afternoon discovering the power of legacy gifts and the breakthroughs they bring. Spend time with like-minded supporters and dedicated volunteers.

“It was a true eye opener to the difference we’re making together in taking away the fear of cancer. My legacy gift will be a way to protect my children, grandchildren, and even their children.” Patricia, event attendee.
