Joinery firm wins London contracts worth millions

A RATHFRILAND-BASED joinery firm has secured new million-pound contracts with a little help from Invest NI.

The MJM Group, which has offices in Rathfriland, has won 6.2million worth of contracts to supply a number of prestigious London hotel with their specialist joinery services.

The award winning company provides specialist joinery fit out and marine refurbishment services to clients from the banking, hospitality and commercial retail sectors.

Brian McConville, Chairman of MJM Group, said, “Our recent success in London’s hotel industry signals the continued success of our global sales strategy, which has been bolstered by the assistance and support of Invest NI over the last number of years.

“By enhancing our skills and capabilities we’ve built up a strong reputation as a global player in the industry and will continue to focus our future sales efforts on opportunities outside Northern Ireland.”

Invest NI, with part funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), has offered MJM Group a broad range of support towards training, development, marketing and strategic planning which has enhanced skills levels and their ability to secure new contracts in key markets.
