THERE has been an international clamour for Jordan O’Keefe ‘JOK’ t-shirts since the teenage Britain’s Got Talent finalist’s family were seen wearing them on TV.

Having made it to the final, and met celebrity Ed Sheerin, Jordan’s dreams of a career in music are all but in the bag even though he did not win the final of the talent show.

According to Jordan’s brother, Aaron, “everything has gone a bit crazy” in the past week or so.

The t-shirts are the brainchild of family friend Alan McClelland, who used to coach Jordan at football.

“Alan came to us and said he just wanted to support Jordan, and he came into the office with a couple of t-shirts he had designed and printed and he asked us to give them to Jordan,” Aaron said, adding: “We were amazed with them and everybody has been asking where they can get their hands on them since we wore them for the show. So Alan has remade then and printed off 3,000. Overnight on Tuesday after we put them out on Twitter and on Facebook through Chocolate Clothing, who are handling the distribution, we had 300 orders,

“The whole idea was to get them out for the final and so people could wear them and we are hoping that a sea of blue and white t-shirts will be worn for Jordan when he comes home. The t-shirs are flying out the door and people are buying them from places as far apart as America and in Asia.

Admitting that the final of Britain’s Got Talent was the “competition of Jordan’s life” Aaron admitted it was nerve-wracking to have to stand on the sidelines waiting to see if his brother got through to each level of the competition.

“When you are there it is heart attack stuff,” he said.

The t-shirts are available through Chocolate.
