July holiday arrangenents for council services

NEWTOWNABBEY Borough Council wish to advise residents of the following changes to working arrangements over the July holiday period.

Mossley Mill offices will be closed on Monday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 13.

The Valley (pictured right), Sixmile, and Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre will be closed Monday, July 12.

Sixmile and Ballyearl will also close on Tuesday, July 13, however, the Valley will be open from 10am to 6pm. For further information please contact the leisure centres directly: The Valley: 028 9086 1211; Sixmile: 028 9334 1818; Ballyearl: 028 9084 8287.

Bin changes are as follows: Bins due to lifted on Monday, July 12 will now be collected on Saturday, July 10; those due to be collected on Tuesday, July 13 will be lifted on Wednesday, July 14; those due for collection on Thursday, July 15 will be collected on Friday, July 16 and bins due to be lifted on Friday, July 16 will be collected on Saturday, July 17. Tel: 028 9034 00056/57 for further bin collection information. Please leave your bin out for 7am on the relevant collection date.

Bruslee Recycling and Civic Amenity Site meanwhile, will be closed on Monday, July 12, but open as normal from 8.30am to 8.30pm on all other days, except Saturday and Sunday when it closes at 5pm. For information on Bruslee, Tel: 028 9034 0056/57.
