Keep an eye on schools - police advice to principals

As the school summer holidays are underway, police in Ballymoney and Moyle are asking principals and caretakers to make regular checks of school buildings to deter unauthorised persons from gaining access.

This type of incident have a financial impact on valuable school funds and can cause unnecessary hassle for teachers and pupils, a police spokesperson said.

Police are also asking people living close to schools to help keep an eye on the properties and to report any suspicious activity immediately on 0845 600 8000. Do not think that you are wasting police time by reporting such activity.
