And she called for Council to bring the bags as soon as possible as the site is “in dire need of them”.

“Iwould also encourage dog owners to use them and keep the site free from dog dirt,” added Cllr McKillop.

“Cottage Wood is one of the nicest walks within Cushendall and it is a credit to the Council.

“However it needs to be kept clean and tidy to encourage more visitors, and the amount of dog dirt at present is very worrying.
