kid on the Internet

To promote Anti-Bullying Week the Leaney Parents and Friends Association invite you to an information evening with Wayne Denner, the renowned Youth Speaker, Educator and Author.

The event will take place in the Leaney Primary School on Wednesday, November 19 from 7pm to 9pm. There will be light refreshments beforehand.

The evening will provide not only parents but also anyone working or supporting young people with advice on how to keep them safe online and encourage, positive, responsible and inspiring online and mobile use.

This event has been financially supported by the Public Health Agency and managed by the North Antrim Community Network.

The agenda will feature a video and discussion. What do we know about where our kids go? Open discussion on awareness of children’s online and mobile socialisation. Benefits and risks.

There will also be a ‘Bridging the Gap on Emerging Technologies section which includes social networking, gaming and mobile platforms.
