Kellswater Flute Band concert

After a break last year as the band took part in The Lord Mayor’s Show in London, Kellswater will be showcasing a new programme of military marches and well known concert pieces, certain to appeal to all tastes.

In addition, a traditional Irish group made up of members of the Band will be making an appearance with accompanying Irish Dancers.

On stage will be flautist Stephen Rankin, violinist Rachel Lutton and award winning piccolo player Shannon Mc Kay who will perform solos in a number of American and British marches.

Tickets are priced at just £5 and can be purchased from Irons Bakery, Larne St Ballymena, Sporting Occasions, High St. Antrim, or from any band member. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Kellswater will also be featuring on Radio Ulster’s Strike up the Band series introduced by Joe Mc Kee on Sunday, December 2, at 4.30pm with the show repeating on Tuesday, December 4, at 7.30pm.
