Kennedy visits major works at the Glen
Transport Minister, Danny Kennedy, joined Mayor, Brenda Stevenson, and Edmund Quinn of Quinn Automatic Ltd., to survey the works which have just commenced on the new greenway network at Creggan Burn Park.
The £600,000 network, which is funded by the Department for Regional Development’s Active Travel Programme and Derry City Council, will provide a viable connection for walkers and cyclists.
It will link the Creggan Burn Park green space to Creggan Road, Glen Road, Baldrick Crescent and the recently regenerated Lowry’s Lane.
