Kenya orphansto benefit fromantiques fair

ORPHANS to Sonship Ministries are delighted to invite you to their second Antique and Collectable Fair on Saturday, June 19, at Wellington Presbyterian Church Hall, Sourhill Road, Ballymena from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.

This promises to be one of Northern Ireland’s biggest antique fairs with over 30 of Ireland’s leading exhibitors displaying a wide range of quality antiques from furniture, porcelain, clocks, glassware, silver, jewellery, militaria, linen, oil lamps, coins, tools and kitchenalia.

Also on display will be a collection of quality works of Art by many local artists, a cake stall and Wood turning exhibits.

Cafe Aroma will be open all day serving teas, coffee, scones and pastry.

This promises to be a great day out with something for most enthusiastic collector to those who are maybe just beginning. All funds raised at this event will be going directly to building a Childrens Home in Kisumu, Kenya.

Orphan to Sonship, based in Ballymena is a registered Northern Ireland Charity and is now a Registered Charity in Kenya also. Within the last few years approximately two and a haf acres of land have been purchased on the main Nairobi Road from Kisumu with plans passed for the erection of a children’s home due to commence later this year. This will provide a home for 50 children.

The vision is to be able to purchase more of the surrounding land to build a school, medical centre and have land for growing crops and grazing animals to enable the home to be completely self sufficient.
